The trip was absolutely amazing. Not only because of the trip itself but also due to our professional guide NIMA. So much enthusiasm and knowledge he had. The way how he explained everything gave such an upgrade to the experience.

The tour was an amazing experience that covered a lot of true Cairo street food. Karim was a delight and was very willing to answer all of our questions. He was even willing to add an extra stop because I wanted to try some sweet potatoes. Ahmed was a very skillful driver that took us safely for our hotel to the old town and back. I would 100% recommend it!

I did the food tour and it was amazing. We ate a lot of delicious food and the guide, Karim, was really nice. He was flexible and showed us the things we were more interested in. He knows a lot about history and Cairo, very friendly and generous (he even payed for more food for us). Finally, I have to mention that we were always accompanied by the driver Ahmed, very professional and save driver.

We enjoyed a tour of Coptic Cairo with Mina. He was a wonderful guide, excellent English and very knowledgeable on the Coptic sites. He was able to integrate history and modern practices and gave a true insight into the development of Coptic Christianity in Egypt. It was very interesting to learn the differences in the traditions and practices of Christian services in the Coptic church compared to ours at home. We visited the Hanging Church, the church of St. George, the Saint Sergius and Bacchus church where the Holy family stayed and the Coptic museum. It was so fascinating to see and walk along the old street level below the level of the churches. We were also able to go into the Ben Ezra synagogue which had just reopened after being renovated. Mina also gave us the option of visiting the Governmental Papyrus museum/store which is interesting and allows you buy some papyrus souvenirs if desired but did not seem like we had to get anything if we didn’t want to. That visit was an option he gave us a choice on so you don’t have to go if you don’t wish. Overall an excellent tour. Would recommend again to anyone.
